Current over-all Leaf color saturation for our Region: 75-100%
Brilliant explosions of color all across the forest in the Greater Cadillac Area can be seen from the highways, along the river side hiking trails and reflecting across the lakes. The bright yellows and reds of fall are really radiant this year against the white pine forests throughout the region.
While outdoor restaurant spaces are beginning to close up, many are still open to enjoy a sunny fall afternoon with friends along the Lake Cadillac, Mitchell and Missaukee shorelines. Some areas are at peak, while others are just finalizing their final roll-out 75-100% as the nights get cooler and days become shorter.
All four Cadillac area routes – Lakes Route, Hodenpyle Route, Missaukee Route and Hoxeyville Route – have high spots to see rolling valleys of color as you meander through our back roads and check out the attractions listed in our downloadable route brochures on cadillacmichigan.com/fall
