Turkey Hunting Clinic

Learn to turkey hunt in this class, which will go over law, habitat, gear, calling and much more. Students will walk away with the knowledge they need to hunt turkeys on their own. Class will include both indoor and outdoor sessions. Dress for the weather.
The Tuesday prior to the class we will have a Zoom meeting to go over gear and how to rig (a link will be sent out to all students the Monday prior).
Cost for the class is $30, which includes lunch and door prizes. Participation is limited to 40 students.
To register for this class, go to Michigan.gov/DNRLicenses and click on the “Purchase a license” button. Sign in (using either a username and password or your ID and birthdate), and find the class under the Outdoor Skills Academy tab.

Please note cancellation policy:
- Cancellations made any time after processing this reservation until the close of business two weeks prior to your scheduled arrival date will incur a 50% cancellation fee. If you cancel after the two-week deadline, no refund will be issued. Students are entitled to any of the materials purchased for the class after the two-week deadline, except materials that have a shelf life.
- To receive a refund, you must email ShawE@Michigan.gov with the following in the subject line: “Refund [class name].” A phone call or voice message will not be considered notification. You must email ShawE@Michigan.gov.
- You may not switch classes without canceling and reregistering for another class date.
A Recreation Passport is required for entry into Mitchell State Park.
