aka “CADDY BEAR”
Whether you are deep in forested trails of the Greater Cadillac area or roaming the downtown streets of Cadillac, always keep your eyes peeled for Caddy Bear! Follow along online and he will show you to all of the great things to see and do in our area, all while reminding you to be a good steward of our trails, lakes, rivers and community.
Caddy can be found at local parades, large festivals and other family friendly events. Try to keep up with Caddy and enjoy these fun activities that make Cadillac a terrific vacation destination in every season of the year!
*NEW* BEAR LAIRS ADVENTURE TOUR
Bear Lairs are whimsical miniature dioramas created by local students that showcase just a few places Caddy Bear loves to explore. These tiny scenes are displayed inside in different downtown shops, inviting families to discover them through an interactive scavenger hunt and tour of Cadillac. Grab a map at participating stops and find each Bear Lair and collect your stamps.
Each diorama depicts a unique scene built with tiny figurines and feature the creative ideas and talents of the youth groups and creators behind the display. More bear lairs are being built all the time, so remember to check back for new displays throughout the year.

Caddy is all about having fun and sharing all of the great things happening in and around our community. If you would like to see Caddy make an appearance at a specific event, please drop us a line with a detailed description of the event and why Caddy should attend.
Remember, Caddy has limited availability and is only able to attend community based events and activities that are family friendly and within our coverage area (within 25 miles of Cadillac). Caddy doesn’t participate in activities with a primary political, religious or other socially polarizing focus. Any requests may be denied at the internal discretion of the Cadillac Area Visitors Bureau based on alignment with its tourism mission and vision for stewardship.
