Lakeside Charlie’s, Kevin Hall

This award recognizes a greater Cadillac Area locally owned restaurant, for their years of dedication to the Hospitality Industry by creating a destination experience, by providing excellent customer service, quality family fare and a commitment to the Cadillac Community. Joining the ranks of the Snider Family & Marina Restaurant (2017), and Burke’s Waterfront Restaurant and Family (2018).

Before knowing what the shingle at the Road would read, Kevin has been part of what we know as ‘Lakeside Charlies’ since 1987 – 31 years.  Making his dream a reality alongside his wife and Father-in-Law back then, now with Heidi and their Son Brad they are transition to the next generation.   Hosting groups like Kiwanis, Bridge, Winter Warriors, Women’s Club and reunions is the community engagement he enjoys.  Teddy Bears & Egg Nog allowed them to share and support 125 children annually at Christmas for 23 years.    He’s enjoyed the company of many of his employees for 20+ years and his chef since 1990 – not many restaurants have that level of commitment, nor do they have Kevin running it.  Kevin and Lakeside Charlies is being honored tonight with this award, for not only the years of hard work in the restaurant business but for their level of commitment to their family, their customers and the Cadillac community.   A true inspiration to all small business owners.
