Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 30, 2025, because the Cadillac Festival of Races is back. It’s bigger, bolder, and faster than ever! Hosted by the Cadillac Area YMCA, this much-anticipated community event brings runners of all ages and skill levels together for a day of racing, cheering, and lakeside celebration. And this year, we’re thrilled to announce a game-changing addition for serious runners: a USATF Certified Full and Half Marathon course – officially a Boston Marathon Qualifier!
What’s New in 2025?
For the first time ever, competitive runners have the chance to qualify for the Boston Marathon right here in Cadillac! The Full and Half Marathons will take participants on a flat, fast, and scenic loop around beautiful Lake Cadillac, making this a destination-worthy race for those chasing personal records.
Whether you’re an experienced marathoner or a weekend warrior, there’s a race for you:

5K & 10K: Out-and-back course starting at Cadillac Rotary Pavilion, perfect for casual runners or families

¼ Mile Lake Swim: Take on a splashy challenge in the refreshing waters of Lake Cadillac

FREE 1 Mile Kids Fun Run: For our youngest athletes (ages 8 & under), this fun dash is all about smiles and high-fives!
More Than Just a Race
The Cadillac Festival of Races isn’t just about finish lines. It’s about community. This year’s festival will feature:

Food Trucks from 9am to 1pm
- 1 House Beer or Non-Alcoholic Beverage from Clam Lake Beer Co. included in registration
- Finisher Medals for everyone crossing the finish line

Awards for the top 3 in each division
- After party at The Raven Social in Downtown Cadillac!
And best of all, proceeds from the festival directly benefit the YMCA’s Free 7th Grade Membership Program, helping local youth stay active, engaged, and healthy.
