Short pretty wooded/shady hike. Pretty flat except for little hill going up the peninsula from the bridge. Nice beach at the end, and a couple benches along the way. My Apple Watch clocked it at .84miles and it took us 16minutes. Only downfall is that you can hear the road noise during most of the walk. Just 6min drive from State Park.

My first time going here and I absolutely loved it! Short trail with little hills. Thriving with wildlife from turtles to hawks, your average everyday bird and everything in-between! The sights are amazing with a picturesque beautiful lake! Surprisingly no one else was here besidese and my pooch! Oh and don't forget to stop by the viewing platform! Really nice views there too!

It's a beautiful place! Like a tucked away secret. It's not a long walk at all, (so I might take my little dog next time!), almost a mile. Scenery is beautiful and the lake doesn't seem like a busy place. There were boats and jet skis, but they were not a bother.

Great little island! One of our favorite spots for a more private walk. However, just be aware, in the summer months, the ticks are REALLY REALLY bad here. I get at least one to ticks on either myself or my dog each visit. Just be aware to check for them afterwards!
