Lake Cadillac Foot & Bike Path

Popular with locals and visitors alike, this 7.5 mile path clings to the Lake Cadillac shoreline. It trails through parks, beaches and neighborhoods, through Cadillac West, and is one block from Downtown Cadillac. The path connects to the White Pine Trail on the eastern shoreline of Lake Cadillac and to the Clam River Greenway on the northern shoreline.

This path offers the most scenic run, bike or walk you can take in the Cadillac area and is highly recommended by most visitors and residents. It’s also the #1 thing that people say they miss when not here.

Note: Hike along the paved path along the shoreline OR bike parallel to the road.

Hiking & Biking

This scenic 7.5 mile loop around Lake Cadillac is entirely within the city limits of the City of Cadillac. This trail has minimal elevation changes (+/- 10’ in long segments) and is ideal for families, seniors and first time recreational hikes and bikers looking to complete a loop. The pathway will take you along historic downtown Cadillac, Mitchell State Park, Cadillac West and you may even connect to the White Pine Trail (paved rail trail connecting to northern Grand Rapids).
