Lake Missaukee

Lake Missaukee is located only 15 minutes east of Downtown Cadillac. The lake covers 1,880 acres and depths range from 5 feet to 27 feet. Much of the center portion of the lake bottom is covered with a wide variety of native aquatic plants. The lake is an excellent spot for freshwater fishing offering anglers bluegill, black crappie, bass, and walleye with locations for shore and pier fishing.

Missaukee County Park is located on the north shore of Lake Missaukee and features 33 acres of park with sandy beaches, campsites, restroom/shower facilities, playground, pavilions and picnic areas, ball fields, and boat ramp.
