We had Blue Heron cater our wedding at Fox Hill and had an outstanding experience. Julie was very easy to work with and communicative throughout the process. Their pricing was very transparent and readily available on their website, and they were able to accommodate some adjustments from their typical package to suit our needs (extra sides, dietary needs for guests, etc). Additionally, Julie went the extra mile to have our family come in for an individual tasting since the group tasting they offer for weddings did not work with my husband's travel schedule for work. We got tons of positive feedback from our guests on the buffet dinner and desserts. We would highly recommend Blue Heron to anyone seeking catering for a large event!

4.5 stars Not your traditional place, which is a compliment. The food is good. I had the country breakfast. It was scrambled eggs, potatoes and sourdough toast. Delicious but a bit greasier than I like. My husband had the breakfast sandwich. We appreciate the menu and eclectic choices. We got some doughnut holes too. They were just ok. My fault that i didn’t realize they were just cake doughnuts with frosting. Brooke was our waitress and she was friendly and capable. After vacationing in Frankfort, where the food wasn’t great nor was the service, we were happy to get a good waitress and a good meal. One place I think they could improve is the lighting. It was hard to read the menu and the font was blue, which makes it even harder to see. We were seated in a dark corner. We would definitely go back.despite these minor issues, the most important things about eating out, the service and food, were very, very good.
