Great trailhead, and the path is seamlessly accessible for wheelchair users. Lots of great views of staghorn sumac and goldenrod in the fall!

Aug 17, 2019 · Google ReviewEntire 92 miles of trail is now paved. I’ve ridden the portion between Grand Rapids and Sand Lake many times. Have ridden at least once portions between Grand Rapids to Big Rapids. Some older sections are bumpy due to tree roots uprooting portions of asphalt, newer sections are smooth as silk!
Aug 24, 2025 · Google ReviewDo you know how much I love the white pine trail? So much! Particularly, between Cadillac and Reed City. Such beautiful woods, marshes, streams, farms, wide open spaces, snakes, turtles, frogs, birds, eagles, hawks, cows, horses, pileated woodpeckers, indigo buntings, and so many other friends. I am a cyclist, runner, and hiker. I've had some of my best runs, hikes, and bike rides on this trail. Chi miigwech ~ thank you!
