Wasnt thrilled. Fish was blah, burger was supposed to be medium rare but seemed just rare and off in general. The only saving grace was the pie, it was awesome. Staff was friendly, the over all feel is like old tavern/lake cabin kinda vibe. Strong smell of stale smoke but guessing its just a super old building. The menu is limited it seems, we ordered the specials. The burger was a hard pass. Idk, maybe an off day? Definitely a mid to poor experience, not something I would go out of my way for.

Honestly not blown away. Wife's chicken with morel sauce was just a plain, unseasoned breast piece of meat. Pretty fatty too. The onion rings were pretty delicious, the bruschetta was good. My wings were about what you'll get anywhere. Salad was very fresh and delicious. Yeungling on draft always a bonus. The look and feel of the place was awesome, would love to come back and sit outside. It's right on the lake. Cora was our waitress and she was outstanding!

We visited during the Fourth of July long weekend. We had a nice outdoor dinner and enjoyed feeling close to nature, though we had a few small complaints. We didn’t know the bread would be served with utensils until our fried onion rings arrived, and we were thirsty, but the water wasn’t enough.

We recently placed a takeout order for the Chef’s Salad and a Caesar Salad with grilled chicken. Upon discovering the chicken breast was missing, we immediately called back and the hostess graciously offered either to remove the item from our bill or hold it for us to pick up. Fifteen minutes later, we returned to find not only the missing chicken breast but also a few complimentary cookies waiting for us—and the chicken had been deducted from our total. This thoughtful gesture was both generous and entirely unexpected. The salads were fresh and flavorful, and the level of customer care was outstanding. We will definitely be back whenever we’re in the area for more amazing food and truly spectacular service. Please note that outdoor seating is available during the summer months; it’s best to call ahead to reserve a table.

My husband said his chicken dish with mushroom sauce was great. My New York strip was supposed to be medium rare but was rare. It tasted great tho. Our tossed salads, mushroom appetizers, and turtle brownie were very delicious. Server was very attentive. We had a great view of Cadillac lake. The interior had neat water type things hanging.
