When I visit my daughter and grand daughter I get a room so my granddaughter can swim in the pool. I've probably stayed at most of the hotels in Cadillac and surrounding areas this one succeeds all the others. Love the location always quiet, clean, friendly, and helpful. Pool is great. Breakfast was very good.

I wasn't sure exactly what to make of the varying Google reviews for this hotel. Turns out I was pleasantly surprised. I regularly spend 20-30 nights per year at hotels, and I have stayed at plenty of Choice Hotels brands (including Comfort Inn). This is one of the better Comfort Inns in the whole country. Let's be honest for a moment: Comfort Inn (as a brand) is not meant to be luxury. The Grand Traverse Resort this is not. That said, if you expect a moderate room at a moderate price, you'll find this hotel clean and comfortable with friendly service. Yes, the beds and linens are not as nice as you'd find at the Hampton Inn. That's because Choice Hotels has standard-issue items - the towels even have a tag that say "Choice Hotels." They are fine. The bed is firm but clean with clean sheets and blankets. The towels dry your body and are clean. There is even breakfast. For my moderately-priced hotel dollar, the Comfort Inn Cadillac is a winner.

Currently staying here and impressed at about every turn, especially at the price. Check-in was easy and friendly. The property is clean and well maintained. Little touches like lemon water and cookies in the lobby are appreciated. Room is stocked with everything you’d need. Pool and hot tub area is nice. The hot breakfast in the morning was better than I expected, with sausage, potatoes, waffles, eggs, etc. I come back to visit family a couple of times a year. I’ll choose this as my home base in the future.

This is one of the best budget hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, I had great water pressure and temperature in the shower. The pool and sauna were open and functioning - anyone who frequents budget hotels know that’s huge. Breakfast was also hot and had plenty of choices. If you need an overnight in Cadillac, stay here!

Staff was great, rooms were clean. Hot tub is hot and pool is a bit chilly. I liked both. Breakfast is hit and miss. Overall quality is strong, and there was some variety with hot meals.
