We came up to northern Michigan from Jacksonville Florida for funerals and took in my fiancée’s late sister’s senior dog, Simon, who had witnessed the murders during the shooting spree almost one month ago that took the lives of my fiancée’s sister and father, so he has been reasonably traumatized and cannot be left alone for too long or he barks and gets very scared. Our room steward, Shanda, went out of her way to help us out, by mopping the floors spotless and leaving a plastic case for our arranged flower bouquet that we took home from the funeral. The staff was very forgiving and understanding when Simon would bark and treated us with high respect and kindness. You will not find better hospitality than this hotel

It was very clean and nice hotel! Staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was waffles and bagels and cereal good. I really enjoyed sitting outside on patio also drinking my coffee. Well worth the price!

My husband and I were very surprised at this econo lodge. It was the cleanest hotel room I have ever seen! The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We had a jacuzzi in the room and it was very nice as well clean and maintained.Breakfast was good with waffles syrup, bagels cream cheese, toast peanut butter jellys, flavored oatmeals, cereals milk, even gluten free. Orange juice coffee milk. Your door leads straight outside to your car easy for bringing luggage in and going out. Don't have to go out hallway and can sit outside. It was worth the price will definitely stay again.
