I stayed here with my dad for a couple of nights and it was great. The place well old is well taken care of and gives you a country feel. The food was amazing and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The cleanliness of the room was above what I expected. I have stayed in hotels all across the country from Seattle to los vagus to DC and this place had them all beat for cleanliness. I look forward to coming back and staying with them again.

Went there for father's day, it was really remote, loved it. Menu is simple bar food, burgers and pizza and chicken strip basket, but our food was prepared well and our service was fantastic. It was our first time there but would highly recommend it especially if your a atv sSXS enthusiast. Feels like your a million miles from a town but your not! Definitely going back!

This is obviously a loved hotel with plenty of history and staff who care about it and the guests. It's been years since I've come across a hotel that was this clean. The bar offered good food and drinks and Trivia Night was entertaining! My son especially loved the pizza Special note: The water straight from the tap is better than any bottled water out there. Absolutely would stay here again

Great location for trail riding. Close to Traverse City without the crowds. Nice secluded location. Very friendly staff. Will definitely be back. Bar and restaurant on site with a great bar burger.

Friendly place. Has all of the charm of a resort on a dirt road built in 1961. Burgers are great, drinks are strong, beds are comforatsble.
