Easter is on the horizon and egg hunting fun awaits. These events will provide you with the perfect guide to Easter egg hunting in the Greater Cadillac Area and can present an exciting challenge for families looking to do a bit of a road trip centered around the events.
April 4th
10 AM – 12 PM: Easter Eggstravaganza – Lifehouse Assembly of God – Free – Cadillac
Start out your day with the cleverly named Easter Eggstravaganza at the Lifehouse Assembly of God in Cadillac. This event is open to all ages, and will include games, food, face painting, and a little birdie told us that a certain Easter Bunny may be there…
12 PM – 2 PM: Easter Egg Hunt – Manton Railroad Park – Free – Manton
Next, head to the Manton Railroad Park, where there’ll be prizes, giveaways, and just plain ol’ Easter fun for children ages 0-12. Make sure to be there by 12:30, the Easter Egg Hunt starts right on the dot!
1 PM: Marion’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt – VFW Post 6015 – Free – Marion
Alright, a hop, skip, and a jump away is the Annual Easter Egg Hunt in Marion, the hunt starts at 1 PM on the dot while the hunters search for thousands of hidden eggs. You’ll even get to see the Marion Fire Department escort the Easter Bunny itself!
1 PM, Hunt Starts at 2 PM: Missaukee Easter Egg Hunt – Merritt Speedway – Free – Lake City
Okay, parents, if you’re doing this “marathon” this may be the point you start getting tired, and that’s okay, your kids are having fun, and hopefully you’ll all be ready to take a nap by the time you get home. This next event is jam-packed with fun, but be sure, firstly, to bring a clothing, hygiene item, pair of shoes, or reusable bags to donate to the Foster Closet of Michigan Wexford-Missaukee. There will be games and prizes, with four age groups: 0-4 yrs old, 5-8 yrs old, 9-12 yrs old, and 13-up. Pack a snack, bring your camera, and hang out with the Easter Bunny again… That thing is all over the place, isn’t it?!
3 PM to 5 PM: 4th Annual Diggins Hill Easter Egg Hunt – Diggins Hill, by Halloween House – Free + Food Drive – Cadillac
Hop on over for the last stop of the day to Diggins Hill in Cadillac and bring your little ones, as there is a car-to-car hunt for children ages 0-6, and a more traditional-styled hunt for the children aged 7–12. This event is going to provide plenty of entertainment for anyone. If your little one isn’t so fond of the chaos, the car hop will be a perfect alternative.
April 5th
Following the 10:30 AM Service: Easter Egg Hunt – First Presbyterian Church Cadillac – Free – Cadillac
Alright, yesterday was crazy, but Easter egg hunting must go on! Head on over to the First Presbyterian Church in Cadillac to partake in another must-see egg hunt and round out a fun, excitement-filled Easter Weekend.
