Hi! I’m Kathy Morin, the Group Sales Manager at the Cadillac Area Visitors Bureau.  I’d like to share with you about the 9 ½ reasons you need to come to Cadillac.  You may wonder, why 9 ½? Read on or watch the video!

Reason number ONE: When I’ve taken planners on site tours, I’ve heard things like, “oh wow, I didn’t even know this was here”! In the past few years there have been millions of dollars in updates in several of our properties, and most have lodging onsite or close by.

Reason number TWO:  There are some really awesome spaces for smaller meetings or board retreats.

Reason number THREE:  Medium sized spaces that can hold up to a couple of hundred attendees.

Reason number FOUR:  Versatile larger spaces that can hold up to several hundred guests, and the Wexford Civic Center can hold over a thousand people!

Reason number FIVE:  Our restaurants with event space can be a fun or unique environment outside of a traditional meeting room.

Reason number SIX:  There are so many recreation opportunities! With eight golf courses, two major lakes in town, two rivers nearby, and Caberfae Peaks Ski Resort, there is no shortage of outdoor activities. Stay an extra day or two on your own, or bring the family along for a vacation.

Reason number SEVEN:  After hours gatherings – or midday – no judgement here!

Reason number EIGHT:  We are fairly easy to get to, with all highway travel from Lansing, Grand Rapids, or the Detroit area. We’re an about an hour and a half north of Grand Rapids, just over two hours from Lansing, and around three hours from the Detroit area.

Reason number NINE:  You’ll get to experience an incredible “up north” atmosphere with festivals, locally owned shops, and an awesome landscape.

Reason number NINE and A HALF:  And finally, that half reason…depending on your meeting and needs, we could be AT LEAST half the cost of other locations but with many of the same amenities. You won’t pay for wifi or parking anywhere in the Cadillac area. We are also state rate friendly all year long.
