Horizon Books

I went inside and they have amazing selections of books exactly what I was looking for, but it pains me to say that the lady that checked me out was absolutely horrible. she gave me a extreme dirty look and just looked at me like I was stupid to the point where I asked her if she would like me to put them back or what the issue was tothat, she said “what” and continued To smirk like it was funny. I did not understand what I did to deserve that dirty look. first of all, she never even made herself known no greeting or anything when I walked in. I personally didn’t see anybody around. I even told my sister I don’t see anybody to cash me out and when I finally got up there, I spotted her sitting all the way in the back and that’s when she was rude and made it seem like I was a burden. even though their books selection was amazing I probably will not be back.

We love small hometown independent bookstores, but sometimes they don’t have what you are looking for. That is not the case for Horizon. Great selection for the various subjects we were looking for. The only negative was that the interior was a little dated, BUT our entire family was able to find several selections. The staff were very friendly and funny. Very conversant. We will stop in next time we are in town.

I always enjoy my visits to Horizon. They always have new, wonderful things to discover, the book club rocks, and everyone is always so nice and helpful. They make a mean cup of coffee, too! My home away from home. 🙂
