It’s a course that feels polished but not pretentious—and apparently golfers all over Michigan agree.
#9 – Missaukee Golf Club
Tucked away near Lake City, Missaukee is a true local favorite. It’s laid-back, affordable, and consistently in great shape. Nothing fancy—just a solid course with a loyal following and a really good walk where kids golf free!
#16 – Lakewood on the Green
This one flies under the radar, but those who play it know. Tree-lined fairways, water on several holes, and just enough challenge to keep it interesting. A peaceful course that doesn’t try too hard.
