MacKenzie XC Ski Trail
UPDATED 1/17/25:
Trails are as good as they’ve been in multiple years. We even groomed some bonus outer loops and interior crossovers for this weekend in addition to the standard Figure 8 and Intermediate Loop. With all the snow we are getting a lot of usage from walkers and snowshoers. Please “thank” them for staying to the sides and off the track. There’s plenty of room for all to enjoy! Report any downed trees by filling out the form on our website. Learn more about the MacKenzie Trail here.
Latest Update
The snow on top of the ice is making most areas slushy and travel more difficult, expect to find ankle deep snow or slush. Slushy spots are starting to freeze top down and creating a double layer. Still seeing a few snowmobiles and ATVs on Mitchell, nothing as big as a side x side. Bitterly cold weather in the forecast so maybe the slush will freeze up.
