Tucked away in a Manton Park is a museum that honors Manton-area veterans. The museum is wall-to-wall military gear and photographs such as uniforms, weapons, ships lantern, a wheelchair and even a World War II-era Jeep. In addition, the walls are filled with more than 300 framed photos of selfless Manton-area servicemen and servicewomen. The museum was built and opened in 2002 thanks to donations of material and labor.
