Description:

The Manistee River Roadside Park/US 131 Roadside Park is an access point that services the Big Manistee River along with the North Country Trail and Fife Lake Loop trail system.  The area can be easily access from the primary highway, and is well marked with parking areas and amenities.  The river access can be found on the southern side of the primary loop. There is parking for larger trailers and the hard surface launch makes it possible to launch a motorboat with ease.  This is a roadside park, and no parking fee/use fee is required to access this site.
