Labor Day weekend is the best time to round up with family and friends to celebrate the end of summer. I have heard that Cadillac is known for a good place to find some great BBQ! So I decided to take some time and do some exploring with a few local restaurants known for their BBQ dishes. I am happy to report I was not disappointed!
Raven Social is a fairly new restaurant and bar located in the heart of Downtown Cadillac. It has a great atmosphere with patio seating outdoors, a stage for live music and a side banquet room for special events. With a full and fresh menu featuring many locally sourced foods – the Smokehouse Mac and Cheese is a must try here!
Next up is The Truck Stop along with the Smoke House BBQ food truck! This unique indoor/outdoor setup features a rotation of different food trucks as well as theme nights, a cool patio and lawn space with weekly corn hole tournaments. I heard they even have igloo seating in the winter months!
The last stop on my BBQ adventure brought me to Willow Market and Primos BBQ! This store has it all – specialty foods, beverages, a deli counter and even plants & flowers! Primos specializes in Texas BBQ, cooked low & slow each day. They also have a mobile truck that does caterings, events and you can often find it parked over at Long Road Distillery!
